ROYAL FLEMISH CRACKER JAR. Very nice Mt. Washington Royal Flemish cracker jar features Roman coin design against a geometric background of deep maroon and amber. MT WASHINGTON CROWN MILANO BURMESE DECORATED ROSE BOWL. Large Mt. Washington rose bowl has a soft apricot to butter cream background and is enameled with a dogwood-type floral decoration overall in colors of white and pink with yellow centers and leaves of green and brown. SMITH BROS. CREAM & SUGAR. Wonderful set of Smith Bros. cream and sugar have cream colored bodies and are beautifully enameled with blue and purple pansies. TWO ENGLISH ART GLASS BOWLS. 1) Interesting bowl or basket has a melon ribbed, slightly swirling body leading to a ruffled rim. Body and rim of the piece are done in amber colored glass with a random overshot pattern of blue and white. Bowl is finished with an amber molded twig handle. 2) Amethyst glass bowl with vertically ribbed body and scalloped rim. Bowl is internally decorated with silver and blue foil inclusions and finished with a clear glass applied lip. Bowl is marked on the underside with hand etched English registry mark which indicates that the vase was made November 17, 1882. SIZE: 6″ t and 6″ dia respectively. TWO VICTORIAN COVERED JARS. 1) Wonderful Crown Milano biscuit jar has green and white floral decorated background with gold gilt and white flowers in the foreground. The jar is fitted with a silver plated collar, handle and lid. Lid is decorated with an allover floral repousse design with applied silver plated butterfly. Jar is marked on the underside with a Crown Milano mark and “521”, while the lid is marked “MW 4418”. 2) Wave Crest dresser jar has impressed top which is further decorated with blue enameled flowers and brown stems. Top and bottom are attached with a brass hinged collar and catch. Signed on the underside with red stamp “Wave Crest CFM Co. Trademark”. HARRACH DECORATED VASE. Lovely Victorian vase has raised gilt decoration of vines, flowers and berries descending from the mouth of the vase. A bumble bee in flight hovers above one of the flowers. Decoration is set against a pink shading to rich red background and the vase has a cased white interior. Signed on the underside with a black propeller mark. SIZE: 6-1/2″ t. VICTORIAN APPLIED VASE. Very pretty Victorian vase attributed to Stevens & Williams has white body with slightly flaring neck leading to a beautifully ruffled rim. Inside of the vase is cased with pink glass and the vase is decorated with amber and red applied decoration of oak leaves, acorns and branch. Vase is finished with an applied amber glass foot and amber glass lip on the rim. SIZE: 10-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: From a private Virginia collection. Wonderful pair of art glass vases attributed to Stevens & Williams have turquoise-blue bodies with applied clear glass flowers, stems and leaves extending upwards from the applied curling stem feet. MOSS AGATE VASE. Very interesting paperweight vase features moss agate decoration with swirls of blue, green, yellow, purple and white encased in the clear glass body. Vase is unsigned but attributed to Moncrieff. Similar example is pictured in the book Glass: Art Nouveau to Art Deco by Victor Arwas, pg. 227, lower right. SIZE: 10″ t. LOBMEYR LUNCHEON SET. Extraordinary Lobmeyr luncheon set consists of twelve 8″ plates, thirteen 7″ plates, seven finger bowls, three sherbets, eight cups and saucers with one additional cup and one 8-1/2″ tall vase. Each piece is blown in clear glass shading to red and is decorated with an enameled stylized floral decoration with gold gilt detail. Each piece is signed in the middle with the Lobmeyr monogram and the set is accompanied by a letter from Mr. Harald C. Rath of the J & L Lobmeyr Factory indicating that these pieces are authentic Lobmeyr and were made between 1885 and 1900. The letter also discusses the manufacturing techniques used in these beautiful Art Nouveau design pieces. SIZE: As noted. MOSER CAMEO VASE. Extremely nice Moser vase has transparent lilac cameo design of an elephant on the front with palm trees surrounding the rest of the vase. MOSER ENAMELED EWER. Beautiful heavily enameled Moser ewer has brightly colored leaves, stems and berries surrounding the entire ewer interspersed between the leaves are various brightly colored insects. The enamel decoration is done against a background glass of cranberry shading to amber and the ewer is finished with an applied glass handle with gold gilding. Unsigned. SIZE: 11-3/4″ t. MOSER BIRD SHERBETS. Beautiful Moser sherbets are done in clear crystal with a tall stem leading to a shallow wide bowl. Interior of each bowl is decorated with a heavily enameled three dimensional bird. Each bird is different including a robin, a duck, blue bird and a song bird. The rim and foot are trimmed in gold gilt and gold gilt clouds adorn the inside of the bowl. Unsigned. SIZE: 6-1/4″ t. PROVENANCE: From a private Pennsylvania collection. LARGE MOSER ENAMEL DECORATED GLASS DECANTER. Over-sized bottle having a colorful cartouche of flowers with three bands having gold leaves and black curlicue background. Vase in bulbous form with ring neck having an oversized 14-1/2” stopper decorated with gold leaves. Signed on the underside of the decanter “Moser Carlsbad”. SIZE: 26-1/2″ t. BOHEMIAN INTAGLIO CARVED & ETCHED POKAL. Lovely Bohemian pokal has a large center cartouche with raspberry colored glass flashing which is etched and intaglio carved depicting a cornucopia of fruit, a sun peering out of a chalice, a hunter’s rifle and sword with a stag head above and a basket filled with musical instruments and sheet music. Under the carved section are etched German words “Gefundbeit Verlangere das Leben”. Backside of chalice has three raised medallions; two outside medallions are intaglio carved flowers and the center medallion is plain. CRICKLITE FIGURAL FIVE LIGHT FAIRY LAMP. Exceptional five arm fairy lamp has porcelain figural stand of a classical woman in gold robes with an amphora in her hand and a water jug on her head. Porcelain figure is marked on the underside “Royal Worcester Made in England 2/125 Trade Mark Cricklite”. Atop the porcelain figure is a brass five arm lamp spider which supports five fairy lamps with clear pressed glass lamp cups and Burmese shades. Each lamp cup is marked in the bottom “Cricklite Clarkes Trade Mark”. Each lamp ring is impressed on the interior “Clarkes Trade Mark Cricklite”. SIZE: 34″ t. RARE FAIRY LAMP CHANDELIER. Wonderful fairy lamp chandelier is suspended from an embossed brass rod with red and white nailsea bobeche at the top and a center red and white nailsea ball in center. Suspension rod gives way to three support arms; each finished with a clear pressed glass Clarkes cup and red and white nailsea shades. Cups are impressed on the interior “Cricklite Clarkes Trade Mark” and the inside of each of the support rings is stamped “S. Clarkes Patent Fairy”. SIZE: 24″ t. PAIR OF CRICKLITE CANDLE LAMPS. Unusual candle lamps have a gold colored tin foot with white celluloid riser and candle cover and are finished with a clear glass candle shade held in place with a metal shade holder which secures the shade from the inside as well as outside. The fourth panel depicts a rocky mountain scene with two wolves standing over their slain deer. The panels are housed within a metal frame with green paint and copper colored trim. ENGLISH CAMEO JUNIOR LAMP. Thuro II, pg. 141e. Opaque white glass over a pink satin background. The white glass is carved in a floral and geometric pattern, much of which is left glossy. The chimney is a reverse frosted cranberry having a 2-1/2″ fitter. The burner, shade ring and collar are silver plated. The burner is signed “Hinks Duplex Patent”. The lamp is not signed but thought to be of Webb manufacture. SIZE: Overall 20″ to top of chimney. PROVENANCE: Ex-William Young Collection. As mentioned above the lamp is pictured in the book “Oil Lamps II: Glass Kerosene Lamps” by Catherine M. V. Thuro, pg. 141, fig. e. The description of the lamp in this book states that it was from the Dr. & Mrs. Leonard S. Rakow Collection and was part of a cameo glass exhibit held at the Corning Museum of Glass in 1982. LIMITED EDITION FAIRYLAND LUSTRE PLAQUE. This beautiful Fairyland Lustre plaque entitled The Enchanted Palace is a limited edition based on an original Wedgwood design in Fairyland Lustre produced in 1922. The plaque depicts a stairway leading up to a distant palace with torches illuminating the stairway, a starry night sky and imps and fairies in the water and trees near the stairway with a baby on a near shore looking on. Plaque is numbered on the back “132 in a limited edition of 250” and marked “Wedgwood Bone China Made in England”. Plaque is mounted in a decorative gold frame. SIZE: Approx. 8″ x 12″. GEORGE OHR PUZZLE MUG. Wonderful George Ohr pottery puzzle mug features pierced sides near the top with hollow mug sidewalls. Holes at the bottom interior wall allow the liquid into the hollow sidewalls which allows the liquid to move around the pierced holes near the lip. A drinking hole at the top of the lip allows the liquid to be consumed without spilling. The handle is decorated with an incised floral design while the body of the mug is finished with a metallic gray glaze with green and tan highlights on the handle and lip. HANDEL SUNSET PALM LANTERN. Outstanding Handel six paneled lantern has metal overlay palm tree design against panels of sunset glass. Sunset panels are trimmed at top and bottom with a geometric openwork metal design backed by green slag glass. Bottom of lantern comes to a point and features openwork shield design against green slag glass. Lantern is signed with an applied tag on the inside of the lip beneath the detachable heat cap and hook. The cap, hook and socket are modern replacements. This is the lantern only. There is no chain or ceiling cap present. The lantern is accompanied by a letter of authentication from Paul Crist Studios. SIZE: 19″ t. PAIR HANDEL REVERSE PAINTED SCONCES. Sconces begin with reverse painted shades decorated with three colorful parakeets perched on branches with a multitude of flowers and buds. The crystal green background plays against the brilliant purples, oranges, and yellows of the parakeets and the muted rose, mauve, and yellow of the blossoms. Supporting each shade is a metal sconce with a single arm that supports a harp which each shade rests upon. Each sconce also has a bell housing facing downwards with a bulb receptacle. HANDEL FABRICON TABLE LAMP. Lamp begins with a reverse painted floral shade with 5-petal blossoms and butterflies, painted in muted pastel colors against a soft yellow and blue ground. Shade is supported by a Handel base completed with two sockets, pull chains and finial, the base having an antique brass finish, an inverted saucer foot and four ball feet. HANDEL LEADED TABLE LAMP. Nice leaded shade has amber honeycomb pattern in the upper portion of the shade with a wide leaded border of red flowers against stylized green leaves. While the shade looks to be in the manner of Unique, it is signed “Handel”. Shade rests atop an urn shaped Handel base with brown patina. Base is signed on the side of the foot with impressed block letters “Handel”. SIZE: Shade is 20-1/4″ dia. Lamp is 28″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with only a few tight hairlines. Base has a small crack near the shoulder of the urn and another near the foot. They appear to be from the casting. ROOKWOOD HANDEL LAMP BASE. Very nice Handel lamp base has Rookwood pottery body with light blue background and dark blue and brown folk art decoration. HANDEL KEROSENE LAMP BASE. Very rare Handel lamp base has bulbous shaped body with lightly impressed vertical panels of stylized leaves. The base supports an oil font with three attached vertical arms supporting a 3-3/4″ shade ring. The shade comes with what appears to be the original electric converter with an open ring that sits down over the shade ring and rests on a small lip on each of the support arms. The electric cord extends from the outside of the converter. Base is signed on the underside with impressed “Handel”. SIZE: 21-1/2″ to top of shade ring. AUSTRIAN CAMEO EWER. Wonderful and unusual Austrian ewer attributed to Kralik has cameo decoration of lily pads, flowers and cattails against an acid textured background. TWO LOETZ SILVER OVERLAY VASES. 1) Beautiful Loetz vase has platinum iridescent oil spot design against an iridescent dark blue background with purple highlights. The iridescent design gives way to a slightly iridescent translucent amber neck and lip. Vase is overlaid with .999 FINE silver with an orchid design on both front and back of the vase. Unsigned but silver is stamped “104 999/1000″ and carries the Alvin Silver Co. trademark. 2) Loetz cabinet vase has light blue iridescent oil spot design against a translucent green background. Vase is overlaid with sterling silver curling stems leading to leaves at the neck. Design is done on the front only and the vase is finished with a sterling silver band at the lip and the foot. The interior of the shade is finished with a clear iridescence showing strong flashes of blue, pink and purple giving the illusion of mother of pearl. Shade is marked in two places on the fitter rim “Pat. Applied For”. Shade rests atop a silver plated base with square foot and pierced openwork design on each side. STEUBEN BLUE AURENE BOWL. Nice Steuben bowl has short applied foot and rounded body. The bowl is finished with a rich blue iridescence showing strong green and purple highlights. TWO STEUBEN CANDLESTICKS. 1) Lovely green jade cut to alabaster candlestick has cut decoration of flower sprays around the foot and body. Stem is attached to foot with an alabaster wafer and the candle cup is attached to the stem with another alabaster wafer. Unsigned. 2) Candlestick has a swirling ribbed foot in Celeste blue with a hollow blown amber stem with mica flecks and four applied prunts. PAIRPOINT PUFFY APPLE TREE LAMP. This truly outstanding example of Pairpoint Puffy apple tree has a background of rich green leaves with bluish highlights with lovely pink apple blossoms surrounding green and red apples. The shade is further highlighted with a pair of bumble bees on one side and two colorful butterflies on the opposing side. The shade rests on a Pairpoint tree trunk base with four arm spider and double socket cluster. Shade is signed “Pairpoint Corp”. Base is signed on underside “Pairpoint Mfg. PAIRPOINT ROSE TABLE LAMP. Blown glass Venice shade is decorated with roses to four panels and at the top center. The mauve rose decoration with green foliage is set against a white lacy ground. Between these large panels are two smaller panels decorated in cream with rosebuds extending upwards. The shade is supported by a four-armed, two-socket, base of high Art Nouveau styling with four paw feet. Shade is signed “The Pairpoint Corp”.
