MONUMENTAL MOSER MARQUETRY VASE.

Monumental Moser vase shades from pink to clear to pink. It has a center orange and yellow marquetry poppy that is nicely wheel carved with good detail. Remainder of the vase is intaglio carved with poppies, stems, and leaves. Carving is nicely detailed and quite deep. Vase is pictured in the book Moser Glass: The Klabin Collection by Gary D. Baldwin, pg. 3, plate 1. SIZE: 18″ t. PROVENANCE: George Klabin Collection. CONDITION: Some shallow flakes and roughness to inside lip. Otherwise very good. 5-67406 (6,000-8,000) – Lot 1003
