Large Moser ewer is decorated with an applied and enameled three-dimensional hawk with wings spread perched upon a tree limb. The hawk is surrounded by brightly enameled oak leaves with gold enamel stems and applied acorns. All set against a cranberry glass ground. The ewer is finished with an applied gilded handle along with gilded lip and foot. SIZE: 15-3/4″ t. PROVENANCE: George Klabin Collection.
