WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 OCTAGON BARREL FULL MAGAZINE RIFLE WITH CASE COLORED RECEIVER AND CRESCENT BUTT COIN SILVER FRONT SIGHT.

SN 30110. Cal. 40-65. 26″ bbl. Blue and case colored finish. Full magazine. Straight grained American walnut stocks with crescent butt. Silver coin front sight. Semi-buckhorn rear sight. CONDITION: Good to very good. Bbl and magazine tube are an even plum-brown patina with some staying at muzzle and a few dents overall. Sights are very good. Coin front sight shows some lettering on left side. Bore is dark with visible rifling. Receiver is a silver-gray patina with slight traces of case color overall. Bolt is plum-brown patina with some staining. Hammer and lever are plum-brown patina. Stocks are good and somewhat undersized with fitting gaps at tang. Stocks have scratches and dents overall and some dark staining at butt end. Buttplate is a silver-gray patina with some staining. Forend cap has 50% re-blued finish.
