*WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 OCTAGON BARREL FULL MAGAZINE SPORTING RIFLE WITH CRESCENT BUTT.

SN 190199. Cal. 38 WCF. 24″ bbl. Blue finish. Straight grain American walnut stocks with crescent butt. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl and magazine tube retain 70-80% faded blue finish with high point and muzzle wear. Muzzle has a dent on left side. Sights are good. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Receiver retains 30-40% bright blue finish with carry wear and high point overall. Hammer and lever retain strong traces of case color in protected areas. Stocks are very good and full size with an old varnish refinish that is somewhat bubbled on the buttstock. Buttplate and forend cap are silver-gray patina with some varnish stains.
