PARKER HIGH GRADE LIFTER ACTION SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN.

SN 258. Cal. 10 ga. 30″ Damascus steel bbls. CYL & CYL bores. 2-3/4″ chambers. Water table marked “B” above engraving. Very early gun possibly before standardized grades with ornamentation similar to grade 3. Action has massive bolsters with raised fences. Engraving features shooter with gun on right lock, dead pigeon on box on left lock with fancy borders and scroll highlights. Dbl triggers, extractors. Key fastened, steel tipped walnut splinter forearm with nearly full coverage borderless checkering. Pistol grip stock with small horn grip cap of fancy walnut has borderless wraparound hand checkering. LOP: 13-3/4″ to checkered skeleton steel butt. Housed in leather covered case with green fitted interior. CONDITION: Metal finish has faded to mottled patina. Bores have scattered pitting. Forearm is refinish with recut checkering having chip along bbl channel. Refinished stock with recut checkering is broken at head with added wood repairs. Top tang appears to be reshaped with crack or added metal. Bbls slightly loose on frame when forearm is removed. Case is in overall poor condition with loose back panel and showing heavy inside wear. 50606-11 DS (1,500-2,500) – Lot 1099
