MOSER DECORATED EWER.

Moser cranberry glass ewer has brightly enameled oak leaves encircling the entire ewer with insects among the leaves. Ewer is further decorated with various size applied and partially gilded acorns. Oak leaf and acorn pattern frames a center area on the front of the ewer which is very nicely enameled with the figure of a courtier. Ewer is finished with an applied clear glass handle. Ewer is pictured in the book Moser Glass: The Klabin Collection by Gary D. Baldwin, pg. 49, plate 58. SIZE: 18″ t. PROVENANCE: George Klabin Collection. CONDITION: One shallow flake approximately 3/8″ long on the side of the foot. Otherwise very good to excellent. 5-67327 (2,000-4,000) – Lot 1103
