*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 ROUND BARREL RIFLE.

SN 348289. Cal. 38-55. 26″ rnd bbl. Full length magazine. This rifle has a Lyman front sight with “certifiable antique ivory” bead and Buckhorn rear sight. The straight grained walnut stock is mounted with a Winchester hard-rubber shotgun buttplate. PROVENANCE: The Timothy Scott Collection. Special Note: This item contains or is made of ivory. This information is located in the front section of our catalog. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl and magazine retains 80-85% orig blue finish with high point wear at muzzle and some miniscule scratch marks overall. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Receiver retains 70% orig blue finish with speckling on left side and some erosion at rear on right side. Loading gate shows considerable fire blue. Lever retains a generous amount of case color in protected areas as does the hammer. Stocks are very good and full sized with numerous handling marks commensurate with age of rifle.
