*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 SADDLE RING CARBINE WITH GUMWOOD STOCKS.

SN 554316. Cal. 32-40. 20″ bbl. Blue finish. Gumwood stocks with carbine butt. Saddle ring. PROVENANCE: The Dr. Robert G. Cox Estate Collection. CONDITION: Good to very good. Bbl and magazine show a gray-brown patina overall with a slight touch-up to finish and some blue around rear sight. Sights are good. Bbl markings are sharp. Bore is frosty with strong rifling. Receiver is a gray-brown patina overall with some slight touch-up and roughness on right side above trigger. Hammer and lever are brown patina. Tang mark is clear. Stocks are good and slightly undersized. Numerous scratches, dents and stains commensurate with the age and use of rifle. Buttplate is gray-brown patina with heel and toe wear. Bbl band is gray-brown patina. A good example of a Winchester 94 carbine with gumwood stocks. 50019-371 TEP C&R (500-800) – Lot 1136
