*CHARMING FACTORY ENGRAVED DELUXE MARLIN SLIDE ACTION RIFLE.

SN NSN. Cal. 22 LR. 23″ oct bbl with engraving at breech. Standard front and rear sights. Receiver and bolt fully engraved. Left side oval vignette with bull and cow moose in forest, right side oval with running buck deer, both with stippled backgrounds. Balance of sides covered with oak leaf and scroll with stippling. Top of receiver engraved with oak leaf and stippling with scroll at rear. Underside of receiver treated to scroll and wavy lines with touches of scroll on borders of trigger guard. Border line engraving on checkered hammer. Steel buttplate treated to scroll engraving as well. Straight grip, finely checkered buttstock and forend in fine American walnut with robust grain and feather crotch figure. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl retains orig thinning blue with oxidation speckling throughout, noticeable wear at carry point. Magazine tube silvering. Receiver retains an even blue/brown patina. Bolt and hammer with strong orig blue. Buttstock and forend in wonderful condition with some minor nicks and retain a lovely rubbed oil finish. Pitted bore remains fairly bright. Sound mechanics.
