W. “Bill” Stewart of Sonora, Texas. CONDITION: Iron is overall brown/gray with remnants of nickel plating still on bbl housing especially in protected areas and rebated groove of cylinder with about half of rolled scene visible. Trigger guard retains over half original silver plate. Matching assembly number “876” found among various SNd parts on grips, ejector, bbl, bbl housing, wedge, frame, trigger guard, backstrap, cylinder and breech ring. Grips are well fit, appear refinished with remnants of thin varnish remaining. Mechanically gun functions well with crisp rifling discernible in bore. 49973-146 JS (4,000-6,000) – Lot 1263
