*CASED MATCH PAIR SCHWARZ BROS. BOXLOCK EJECTOR GAME GUNS.

SN 14444/14445. Cal. 12 ga. Matched pair of guns marked “1” and “2” on bbls, floorplate and forearms. Both have case colored scallop boxlock actions featuring side clicks, cross bolt lock, dbl triggers and auto ejectors. They have 3/4 coverage rose and scroll engraving. Both bbls are 27-3/4″ with sunken ribs and Belgium nitro proofs. 2-3/4″ chambers. Both have splinter forearms and straight hand stocks of exhibition quality thin shell walnut featuring fine hand checkering and having silver nameplates in toelines. LOP: 14-3/4″ over thin London style red pads. Gun 1) Fixed IM & FULL chokes. Drop at comb: 1-5/8″; drop at heel: 2-3/8″. Gun 2) Fixed IC & MOD chokes. Drop at comb: 1-3/4″; drop at heel: 2-1/2″. Both housed in leather covered two sided luggage case with green velour interior. PROVENANCE: Remarkable William Larkin Moore Private Estate Collection of Fine Sporting Arms. CONDITION: Gun 1) Very good reblackened bbl finish showing small marks. Good bright bores. Action retains most of its restored case colored finish. Stock and forearm have very good satin refinish. Gun 2) Good blackened refinish with scattered scratches and marks. Good bright bores. Restored case colored finish is becoming light on floorplate, bolsters and edges.
