*COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER.

SN 234579. Cal. .45 Colt. 5-1/2″ bbl, blue and case colored finish, checkered hard rubber grips with Colt medallion. Grips are not numbered, but fit well and appear orig. All visible SNs match. PROVENANCE: The Dr. Robert G. Cox Estate Collection. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl retains 30-40% bright blue with wear on left side toward muzzle. Bbl address is sharp. Bore is dark with visible rifling and some staining. Ejector rod retains 50% blue in protected areas with a gray-brown patina and some staining on outer side. Frame is smooth with traces of orig case color in gullets at front of frame and around hammer. Screws are good and unmolested. Hammer shows traces of case color on both sides. Trigger shows traces of fire blue on both sides. Cylinder retains 30-40% blue with a slight drag mark and some scratching around rear periphery of cylinder. Chambers are good. Action functions well.
