SN S 138913. Cal. 357 Magnum. 3-1/2″ bbl, blue finish, target sights, matted rib and top strap, checkered walnut grips with S&W medallions. Five-screw frame. PROVENANCE: Larry Baer Estate Collection. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl retains 80% blue with some scratches on bbl. Sight ramp has scratching and staining on either side. Bbl address and cal mark are sharp. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Cyl retains 90% blue with dark blue in flutes, high point wear, and a slight drag mark. Chambers are good. Frame retains 95% blue with slight handling marks and some scratches on trigger guard and behind hammer. Hammer and trigger retain 95% vivid case color. Grips are very good with sharp checkering and nice medallions. SNs on bbl, cyl, frame, and grips all match. Box is very good with correct end label, Kraft wrapping paper, instruction sheet, and screw driver. A very nice S&W 357 Magnum in a rare bbl length. 49428-37 TEP (1,500-2,000) – Lot 1344
