*COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY BISLEY MODEL REVOLVER WITH CHECKERED HARD RUBBER GRIPS AND COLT MEDALLIONS.

SN 326317. Cal. 32 WCF. 5 1/2″ bbl. Blue and case colored finish. Checkered hard rubber grips with Colt medallions. Serial numbers match on frame, trigger guard, and backstrap. Cylinder is stamped “283” on front face. Left side of trigger guard and backstrap are stamped “ASHLY” on inside. All markings are standard for this revolver. PROVENANCE: The Dr. Robert G. Cox Estate Collection. CONDITION: Very good as professional refinished. Bbl retains 95% of re-blued finish. Front sight is full-sized. Bbl markings are sharp. Bore is frosty with strong rifling. Ejector rod housing retains 95% re-blued finish with slight wear at muzzle end. Frame retains 50% case colored finish. Patent mark is sharp. Hammer and trigger retain 90% re-blued finish as do screws. Backstrap and trigger guard retain 95% re-blued finish. Cylinder retains 98% of re-blued finish with slight high point wear. Chambers are clean. Grips are very good with sharp checkering and medallions. Action functions well.
