*2ND GENERATION COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER.

SN 27155SA. Cal. 45 Colt. Blue and color case hardened with 5-1/2″ bbl, block letter address with model & cal marking on left side. Left side of frame has 2-line 3 patent dates & Rampant Colt without circle. Mounted with matching numbered Rampant Colt hard rubber grips. Accompanied by a spare set of real stag grips. Produced about 1959. PROVENANCE: The Brad Shepherd Collection. CONDITION: Extremely fine, all matching, including hard rubber grips. Overall retains about 98-99% bbl & cyl blue with some minor thinning on front and back straps. Frame retains about 99% orig case colors, brilliant in sheltered areas, lightly to moderately faded elsewhere with some minor age spotting. Grips are crisp, showing little or no wear.
