SN 28239. Cal. 22 Hornet. 24″ bbl, blue finish, checkered walnut stock. PROVENANCE: William Henkel Collection. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl retains 98% blue with only slight handling marks. Bore is frosty with strong rifling. Receiver retains 98% matte blue finish. Bolt handle retains 90% blue finish. Bottom metal retains 95% blue finish with one scratch on the side of floorplate. Stock retains 95% orig varnish with slight handling marks, especially on left side. Checkered pistol grip with Winchester cap. Checkered forend with ebony cap. Steel buttplate with 90% blue.
