*GORGEOUS PARKER CHE 16 GA SHOTGUN WITH CASE.

SN 225384. Cal. 16 ga. 30 Acme steel” bbls. 2-7/16″ chambers. Full length matted top rib with twin ivory beads. No. 1 frame with unstruck bbl weight of 3 lbs. 11 oz. Nickel plated dbl triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety. Beautiful French walnut capped pistol grip buttstock with silver oval in toe is fancifully checkered in CHE pattern with 13-1/2″ LOP over orig skeleton steel buttplate. Splinter forearm with Deely release and steel tip is checkered in standard CHE pattern. Receiver is beautifully engraved with Pointer on left, Setter on right, surrounded by fancy Parker scroll. Trigger plate with beautiful large bird on mound in hills and field scene surrounded by Parker scroll. Both sides of action engraved “Parker Bros”. Trigger guard with burst of scroll on bow, and SN at tang. Accompanied by an old brown leather leg o’mutton case and PGCA letter confirming this gun in its current configuration exactly except for minor discrepancy in drops. Bore diameter: Right .670, Left .670. Bore restriction: Right bbl .019 (Mod), Left bbl .027 (Imp Mod). Wall thickness: Right bbl .027, Left bbl .025. Drop at comb: 1-1/2. Drop at heel: 2-3/4. Bbls retain 95-97% orig blued finish with minor handling marks. Buttstock and forearm are excellent and retain 95% orig oil finish with minor handling marks. Receiver retains approximately 75% strong orig case color particularly nice on sides and trigger plate starting to tone on bottom. Trigger guard with 70% orig blue, toning at tang. There is a most minute grain separation on right side of tang which is almost invisible. An early owner put his SSN with electric pencil on water table and bbl flat, though it doesn’t in any way detract from the gun. Case is fair with some scrapes and leather drying. Handles are gone.
