LARGE CENTER BOWL.

Large clear glass center bowl with trapped bubbles is decorated with yellow glass applied threading around the slightly ruffled rim. Signed on the underside “Steuben F. Carder”. We have determined that this bowl is not Steuben and is most likely Frye. We are told that in Mr. Carder’s later years people would bring him Steuben pieces to sign and he would accommodate. There we occasions when he would be brought items that were similar to Steuben and because of failing eyesight he would mistake them for Steuben and sign them. We do not know that this is the case with this bowl, but we do not guarantee it to be Steuben. SIZE: 16″ across x 2-3/4″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-64223 (200-300) – Lot 1424
