*◊ EXCEPTIONAL WORLD WAR I DWM 1916 DATED P-08 LUGER PISTOL.

SN 9950D. Cal. 9mm. 4″ bbl, blue finish overall with “1916” chamber date and toggle marked “DWM” in script. 2-pc checkered walnut grips with nickel finish wood base magazine. Straw finished levers, trigger and magazine release. Imperial proof marked on right side of chamber. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Extremely fine overall condition with most all period rust blue finish remaining. Most all straw finish remaining on levers, trigger and magazine release. Bore and mechanics are exceptional and this is a very nice numbers-matching pistol with the exception of the correct pattern but non-matching magazine. 49829-89 TDW (1,500-2,500) C&R – Lot 1429
