*EXCEEDINGLY RARE ITHACA NID GRADE 3-E 28 GA SHOTGUN, 1 OF ONLY 5 MADE.

SN 458473. Cal. 28 ga. 26″ bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. Full length matted top rib with ivory mid and front bead. Front bead with tiny gold insert on top. Non-selective sgl trigger, auto ejectors, non-auto safety. Capped pistol grip buttstock checkered in four point pattern with wave pattern at back. Gold shield with initials “ECT”(?). 13-15/16” LOP over replacement Ithaca Sunburst pad from rear position sgl trigger. Splinter forearm with Deely release and triangular ebony tip checkered in broad arrow point pattern toward muzzle. Receiver is nicely engraved in standard Grade 3 pattern with woodcock on left, quail on right, duck in oval on bottom, surrounded by light shaded scroll engraving. Top of action is stippled and with cocking indicators. Top lever and trigger guard bow are nicely scroll engraved. Drop at comb: 1-5/8. Drop at heel: 2-5/8. Wall thickness: Right .026, Left .026. Bore diameter: Right .548, Left .548. Bore restriction: Right .007 , Left .020 . Bbls retain approximately 80% orig blue. Buttstock and forearm are excellent as refurbished, checkering recut and retain nearly all of their custom finish. Receiver retains approximately 25% orig case color, mostly in protected areas. There is some minor browning on right side near bbl bolster. Trigger guard retains about half of its orig blue.
