SN 32020. Cal. .270 WCF. 22″ bbl, blue finish. French walnut stock. PROVENANCE: William Henkel Collection. CONDITION: Very fine as refinished. Bbl has been replaced and retains 98% dark blue. Bore is very good with strong rifling. Receiver shows 99% matte finish, bolt handle shows 99% finish, bottom metal shows 99% blue with some spots on trigger guard. Bolt is machine turned. Bbl is full floating. Stock is highly figured French walnut with fine checkering on the pistol grip and forend, ebony forend cap, steel buttplate, quick detach sling swivels. Stock shows very few handling marks. Some rust stain on heal of buttplate and pistol grip cap. Bore is very good with strong rifling. Very nice custom model 70. 49394-37 TEP (1,500-2,500) – Lot 1448
