Emile Galle (French, 1846-1904). Shaped turtle-top with molded edge inlaid with floral and foliate branches, two butterflies in the foreground above “Galle” inlaid in script. The medial top with conforming marquetry. Both tops with rosewood, walnut and mahogany veneered backgrounds. Raised on reeded, slightly cabriole legs with outswept shaped feet. SIZE: 30-1/2″ t x 31-1/2″ l x 20-1/4″ w. CONDITION: With enhanced French polished surface, with minor and minimal hairline shrinkage splits in veneers.
