AMERICAN ART GLASS PULLED FEATHER VASE.

Large pulled feather vase attributed to Durand has gold iridescent pulled feather design descending from the lip and ascending from the foot, each outlined in bright red. Vase is accompanied by a letter from the Museum of American Glass dated 1993, in which the curator found a photograph in the Martin Bach papers with a similar example used as a lamp base. A black and white copy of that photo accompanies the letter. Unsigned. SIZE: 10 1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good with light surface scratches on exterior, several small bubbles at the surface from the making. 52067-3 (400-600) – Lot 1768
