SN 192. Cal. 20 ga. 2-5/8″ Chambers. 30″ Shoe lump bbls are fitted with semi-raised, matted, ventilated rib, with gold inlaid “REGENT DALY” toward rear. Breech ends of bbls are gold inlaid with two bands, and have 2-1/2″ triangles of well cut shaded medium scroll. Bbl flats are stamped with imperial German nitro proofs for 20 ga. and 2-3/4″ chambers. Bottoms of bbls are stamped “BOHLER ANTINIT” and with SN and proof date of 10/30. Case hardened action with ornamental sideplates features automatic safety (SAFE gold inlaid), reinforcing bolsters, side clips, crossbolt third fastener with dolls head, and single selective trigger with checkered finger blade. Action and sideplates are engraved with nearly full coverage extremely well cut medium sized shaded scroll. Trigger plate has exceptionally well rendered deep relief engraved scene of hawk stooping on rising pheasant, the principals of which are relief inlaid in gold. Blued top lever is also scroll engraved and has a band of deep relief scroll at pivot. Blued and scroll engraved trigger guard has importers name “A. H. Heinen” “CHICAGO” as well as SN on short tang. Very fine, light reddish brown, nicely streaked and figured European walnut, steel capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14-1/4″ over orig ribbed horn buttplate. Stock features long lozenge shaped drop points and fancy pattern borderless checkering at grip. Matching 12″ long beavertail ejector forend has Anson release which engages two different loops on bbl for added strength. Water table, breechface and forend iron internals are engine turned. Bore diameter: left -.627, right -.627. Bore restrictions: left -.016 (mod), right -.015 (mod). Wall thickness: left -.032, right -.026. Drop at heel: 2-3/16″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 7 lbs 1 oz. LOP: 14-1/4″. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbls retain 95 -98% orig blue with some areas of light cleaning, and a few scattered marks, silvered on sharp edges and at muzzles. Middle bead has been removed and area re-colored. Action retains most of its orig case hardening color, lightened and silvered at bottom from normal hand wear. Lockplates retain nearly all of their color. All percentages difficult to ascertain because of an accumulation of grease and oil. Top lever and trigger guard, as well as grip cap, retain over 80% of their orig blue. Stocks retain nearly all of their orig glossy oil finish with numerous marks and some light scratches, mostly on left side of butt. Checkering is lightly worn. Buttplate has chip at toe and some insect damage. Bores are excellent. Action is tight. Bbls are on face. Ejectors are in time. Trigger works.
