Cal. 28 GA Chambers. 26-3/8″ Bbls fitted with interchangeable chokes, and matted ventilated rib are marked with gauge and Beretta name and address on mono-bloc on left, and with warning on right. Bottom of mono-bloc is stamped with SN and 1999 Italian nitro proofs. Coin finished, low profile, small sized Beretta action with ornamental sideplates features gold-plated sgl selective trigger. Action is engraved with nicely hand cut sprays of scroll with woodcock in flight on bottom over Beretta name and model. Sideplates are engraved with more scroll surrounding exceptionally well done game scenes; a pair of mallards fly over marsh on left plate, and a trio of snipe on right. Engravers signature is on trigger plate. Well marbled and lightly figured European walnut pistol grip buttstock measures 14-1/2″ over thin black Beretta pad. Standard checkering is at grip. Small matching schnabeled forend has Beretta’s Deeley type release.Drop at heel: 2-5/16″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 6 lbs 7 oz. LOP: 14-1/2″. Black ABS Beretta marked case is lined in black foam and contains bags for action and bbls and three Beretta choke tubes (two in gun) and wrench. CONDITION: Excellent, near new, with little evidence of firing since proof, and only a few light marks on wood and metal. Mechanically crisp.
