SN 25340. Cal. 12 ga. 32″ Bbls/ 20 ga. 30″ Bbls. This fine target gun has mono-bloc bbls, with matted ventilated rib, ventilated side ribs, and interchangeable chokes. They are marked with Gamba’s name and address on top left sides. 20 ga bbls have importers name on right, and are ported. There is gold wire inlay at breech ends on both sets of bbls. Coin finished, low profile, OU action with removable trigger group, features non-automatic safety and single selective trigger. Action is engraved with near full coverage of exceptionally well cut, miniature scroll with floral highlights. This scroll surrounds Bulino scene of flying partridge on bottom of action. Lockplates and sides of action have fine Bulino scenes of dogs and game birds; pointer pointing a flushing partridge in open meadow on left side, and a pair of mallards settling into marsh, on right. Makers name is engraved in forend iron mortise. Engravers signature “Badillini” is at right side of trigger housing. Beautifully marbled and figured European walnut extreme pistol grip buttstock measures 15-1/4″ over thin brown pad, and features drop points, point pattern checkering, and right hand palm swell. Matching sporting clays type schnabeled forend fits both sets of bbls, and has Deeley type release. Drop at heel: 1-15/16″, drop at comb: 1-1/4″. Weight: 8 lbs 3 oz. LOP: 15-1/4″. 12 ga bbls are fitted with Briley tube set for 28 ga and .410. Aluminum Americase is lined in purple velvet, has tube set in top under hinged divider. Bottom has space for action and both sets of bbls, and contains various choke tubes, with wrenches for 28 ga. CONDITION: Excellent, near new, with evidence of light firing. Mechanically crisp.
