*SUBLIME .22 MAGNUM RIMFIRE BABY ZEUS BOXLOCK EJECTOR DOUBLE RIFLE BY ABBIATICO & SALVINELLI WITH CASE.

SN 978. Cal. .22 Winchester Mag Rimfire. 22″ Chopper lump bbls are fitted with file cut quarter rib mounting claw scope bases, and one standing, one folding leaf express rear sight, with gold triangle and lines marked for 50 and 100 yards. Gold bead front sight is in matching ramp. Side of left bbl is engraved “Abbiatico & Salvinelli”. Bbl flats are stamped with SN, and Italian nitro proofs. Bottoms of bbls are stamped “BOHLER RASANT” and with caliber. Bottom of left bbl is gold inlaid “Fatto a Wono Per L. G.” (Made especially for L.G. ?) A sling loop is screwed to bottom rib. Case hardened baby boxlock action with long top strap extending over comb, features non-automatic safety and double triggers (front set). Borders of action are gold wire inlaid, and this treatment is also on scope claw bases on bbl. Screw heads are engraved. “ZEUS” is gold inlaid on engraved riband on trigger plate. Blued top lever, forend iron, and single beaded trigger guard also have gold wire inlay. SN is at grip. Nicely marbled stump figured European walnut pistol grip buttstock measures 14-3/8″ over checkered wood butt, and features classic styled shadow line right hand cheekpiece, point pattern checkering with line borders at grip, and a sling loop, as well as a gold oval engraved “LG” on toe line. Semi beavertail ejector forend has Anson release. Drop at heel: approx 2-5/16″, drop at comb: approx 1-5/8″. Weight without scope: 5 lbs 9 oz. LOP: 14-3/8″. Swarovski Habicht 1.5 – 4.5 X 20 scope with duplex reticle is in claw rings, rear ring with windage adjustment. Blue ABS Famars marked case with tan leather trim is lined in dark green velvet, and is made for a 2-bbl set target shotgun. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbls retain approx 95% orig blue, silvered on sharp edges and thinning slightly toward breech. Action retains 70 – 80% of its orig case hardening color, silvered on top tang, fences, and around bottom from light hand wear. Blue of top lever, forend iron, and trigger guard very slightly silvered. Stocks retain approx 90% of their orig glossy finish with numerous marks and light scratches, one or two fairly deep on left side of butt. Bores are excellent, with one or two light pits in right bbl. Action is tight. Bbls are on face. Ejectors are in time. Set trigger works. Scope has a number of light marks in its exterior lacquer.
