*F. W. HEYM OVER-UNDER DOUBLE RIFLE WITH SCOPE, EXTRA SHOTGUN BARRELS, AND CASE.

SN 77015. Cal. .375 Mag and 12 ga. 25″ Mono-bloc rifle bbls are fitted with full length matted rib, central portion cut away forming quarter rib and front sight ramp. Rear portion is fitted with one standing leaf express rear sight, and claw scope bases. Front ramp holds sourdough bead, central portion is marked “FRIEDRICH WILH. HEYM”. Left rear of bbl is stamped “Special Laufstahl” and right “Made in W. – Germany”. 28-1/4″ Shotgun bbls have same markings as rifle bbls, but are fitted with ventilated rib. Each bbl set has its own dedicated forend. Coin finished OU action with dbl Kersten bolt features non-automatic safety, pin type cocking indicators on top, and dbl triggers (front set). Action is engraved with 60% coverage large, open, shaded scroll, and other sprays of scroll surrounding game scenes; a pair of running hare on left, and a flushing duck on right side of action. Bottom, with scroll engraving is stamped “F R WILH HEYM”. Relatively plain European walnut sunburst horn capped pistol grip buttstock with slightly hog-backed comb measures 14-1/4″ over black Decelerator pad. Point pattern skip line checkering is at grip. Stock features a small shadow line right hand cheekpiece. Matching one piece forends have Deeley releases. Rifle BBL set: Drop at heel: approx 3-1/4″, drop at comb: approx 2″. Weight without scope: 8 lbs 6 oz. LOP: 14-1/4″. Shotgun BBL set: Bore diameter: top -.719, bottom -.719. Bore restrictions: top -.031 (full), bottom -.009 (IC). Wall thickness: top -.040, bottom -.038. Drop at heel: 2-7/8″, drop at comb: 1-11/16″. Weight: 7 lbs 7 oz. LOP: 14-1/4″. Schmidt & Bender 1.5 – 6 x 42 scope with three post and duplex crosshair reticle is in Recknagel claw rings, rear with windage adjustment. ABS two gun case with three combination locks, is lined in dark burgundy velvet, with central dividing partition. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbls retain over 95% orig blue with some sharp edge wear and assembly marks. Coin finish of action has some flecking and darkening. There are a number of light handling marks in stock finish, checkering lightly worn. All the bores are excellent. Action is tight. Scope is excellent except for one or two marks and 3/4″ crease on left side of ocular bell. Optics clear. Case is excellent. 49512-1 MGM301 (10,000-15,000) – Lot 2196
