PAIR OF TIFFANY STUDIOS CHAINMAILLE SCONCES.

Pair of Tiffany Studios sconces have chainmaille shades with square lightly iridescent glass panels in the center of each chainmaille link. Each glass panel has a subtle hue of purple or amber. The sconces are further decorated with a Moorish design of tight swirls of bronze rope. Each sconce has a double arm supporting candelabra sockets. The bronze is finished in a rich brown patina with subtle green highlights. Unsigned. Similar examples are pictured in the book Tiffany Lamps and Metalware by Alastair Duncan, pg 352-353.
