Monumental Daum vase has cameo and enamel decoration of a winter scene with enameled snow covered ground and barren cameo trees rising to the lip with enameled brown bark with enameled white show clinging to the bark, all set against a mottled yellow and orange sky. The oval vase narrows and flattens at the top and is finished with a notched and slightly flaring lip. Signed on the underside in black enamel “Daum Nancy” with the Cross of Lorraine.
