MARTIN “MYSTERIOUS BALL” TIN TOY. This toy is a depiction of an actual circus act from the turn of the century where a performer hid in a ball, rolled up to the top of a sharp steeple, the ball would stop at the top, open up and the performer would be revealed. Toy has great action. Base is green and the spiral is red and white and the ball is red with silver stars. Performer is hand painted with a white and red costume. SIZE: 13-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Most notable wear is on the ball with some slight discoloration. 1-11229 (800-1,200)
