OUTSTANDING PACKARD PEDAL CAR BY GENDRON. This remarkable pedal car from the mid 1920s is as good as it gets! Highly sought after by toy collectors as well as collectors of the real life vintage Packard automobiles, this vehicle comes complete with a multitude of “options”. Known in the pedal car world as a “six footer” (almost six feet long) this car comes with an adjustable windshield with fly windows, running board spotlight, front & rear license plates, gear shift lever, taillight, simulated canvas fold down roof, canvas cover for side mount, front headlights, working horn, simulated spark advance and on/off switch for headlights on the steering wheel are just a few of the extras adorning this pedal car. Enameled in two tone green paint with gold pin striping and the trademark Packard nickel plated honeycomb radiator this was the prize possession from a west coast estate collector who had searched for years to find the best possible example of a Packard pedal car. Although some paint has been enhanced (hood, front fenders, trunk) and the fly windows are replaced, this car overall is in very fine original condition. A rare opportunity to find such a unique item to add to ones collection! SIZE: 55″ l. CONDITION: Replaced canvas covers for spare & rag top, as noted above. Overall condition is very fine. 1-11416 (6,000-8,000)
