RARE ANTIQUE NAVAJO CHIEF’S BLANKET. This antique hand-loomed chief’s blanket in reds, browns and tans, was found in the attic of a central Maine home. It had at one time, according to family legend, been a gift from Chief Peter Nicholas (believed to be a Penobscot Indian) to Basil Lamb of Rangley Plantation. SIZE: 7’4″ x 4’4″. CONDITION: Some small damages in the center and along the edge. 9-92406 (1,000-1,500)
