1890s ERA BRU BEBE. Sweet closed mouth child with head incised “Bru Jne R10” with large blue paperweight eyes, closed mouth with defined white space between the lips on the original fully articulated wood and composition body with straight wrists which is stamped on the back torso “Bebe Bru No.10”. She wears an old brown mohair wig over cork pate, an 1890 style cotton two piece blue and white sailor type costume with red embroidered anchor and an antique navy blue beret and antique white leather shoes impressed on the sole “LD”.
