CONVERSION FRENCH MUSKET. Cal. 75. Bolster conversion with 41-1/4” bbl, Rocky Mountain front sight with Kentucky rifle style fixed rear sight. It has two brass bands & brass furniture with iron buttplate missing the upper band and has a trumpet head iron ramrod. It also has a large banana shaped lock with short teat and worn markings. CONDITION: Good to very good. Bbl retains a dark brown patina with some heat marks near the upper end. Wood is sound with an old dark patina and brass has a medium mellow patina. Repaired trigger guard, good mechanics. 4-51423 JR789 (500-600)
