13″ EMPRESS EUGENIE FRENCH FASHION DOLL. A captivating early example of a stiff necked French fashion doll. Her smile is reminiscent of the highly sought after Bru fashions, but more than likely this is an earlier example produced by some other firm. Extremely pale bisque with cobalt blue eyes, finely feathered eyebrows, rosy cheeks and that stunning smile make this a desirable doll. Dressed in a replica fashion gown with train that covers her gusseted kid body. She is diminutive in size and perhaps this is what makes her so appealing. SIZE: 13″ t. CONDITION: Blond wig glued tight but upon close inspection head and shoulder plate appear to be free of any damage. Kid body is intact and although doll has not been undressed appears to have minimal wear. 1-11448 (3,000-6,000)
