FINE 18TH CENTURY GEORGE II MAHOGANY ACCORDION GAME TABLE. A fine period mahogany table with rare concertina or accordion action. The hinge top and apron, as well as the cabriole legs feature lavish ornate carving consisting of floral rosettes and scroll designs. The top lifts to reveal a felt-covered playing surface with recessed money wells and candle rests. The cabriole legs carved with leaf design and end in pad feet. SIZE: 28-1/2″ h x 35″ w x 17-1/4″ d (closed). CONDITION: Carving is antique but probably added after the original construction. Some restoration. 9-92307 (2,500 – 3,500)
