*SPECTACULAR CAPECE ENGRAVED FIVE COLOR GOLD INLAID BROWNING SUPERPOSED. SN 60432VO. Cal. 20 ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. 26-1/2″ Barrels. This eye-catching custom Browning with usual St. Louis and Montreal bbl address and narrow matted ventilated rib has had action refiled, polished, and blued as backdrop for semi-relief gold inlay consisting of normal yellow gold open vines with floral terminations over action, tangs, and forend; framing 5-color gold vignettes of game birds. A pair of ring-necked pheasants is on left, mallards on right, and bob-white on bottom of action. Inlays are well done using colored gold to highlight plumage and shading. Engravers signature is on trigger plate. Strikingly stump figured and marbled thin shell walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14-7/8″ over checkered wood butt. Well cut checkering has bead and acanthus carved borders and ends. Matching 3-pc forend has Schnabeled tip. Bore diameter: top -618, bottom -.619. Bore restrictions: top -.003, bottom -.003. Wall thickness: top -.040, bottom -.041. Drop at heel: 2-1/4″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 6 lbs. 2 oz. LOP 14-7/8″. Gun comes in Perazzi ABS case with checkered cloth interior. CONDITION: Essentially as new, with only one or 2 very minor marks in bluing on bottom of forend iron, scuffs on top tang from operation of safety, and slight discoloration on left side of top lever.
