27″ REGINA CHANGER MUSIC BOX WITH DRAGON FRONT. Circa 1899. Nice refinished quarter sawn light oak case with turned and carved columns framing the heavily carved dragons on either side of front glass panel. Spindle type gallery with finials on corners are complete and original. Egg and dart molding is used to frame the glass in the bottom for viewing the changer working. Has double combs and is complete with a 12-disc automatic changer which will play continual music on a full winding. There is a lever for manual operation so it will play continuous or repeat and shut off at the end of the disc. Music box is complete with approximately 32 discs. Great sounding machine. SIZE: 39-1/2″ w x 23″ d x 73″ t. CONDITION: Case has been refinished, all corners appear to be square and veneer is solid. Combs and dampers are nicely restored bringing out full tone. Changer and drive motor are in very good working condition. Machine appears all original; some of the discs are new including Christmas tunes. 1-11244 (15,000-20,000)
