EXCEPTIONAL SALESMAN SAMPLE POTATO PLANTER. Highly detailed brass model of a piece of farm machinery. Two large wheels flank an elaborate chain and gear mechanism that when pulled by a workhorse drills a series of holes in the soil while the rear hopper deposits seed. The formed saddle seat gives the operator access to a variety of working cranks, levers, and pedals. Stamped in two places “Baums B&M Wks, MP_S”. SIZE: 13″ l x 7-1/2″ w x 6-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Very good to near excellent. Appears to be complete. Wooden tow bar shows general wear and tear. 1-11316 (5,000-7,000)
