COCA-COLA 1922 “FOUR SEASONS” WINDOW DISPLAY. Extremely scarce 5-panel cardboard die-cut display with fabulous illustrations of women dressed according to seasons of the year. The first two panels depict bathing beauties at the seashore conversing with a gentleman admirer, with a pier and boardwalk visible in the distant background. The full profile of a woman in a stylish evening dress posing under a moonlit sky graces the center panel. The last two panels are winter scenes with a woman in a fur-trimmed coat and cap and ice skaters on a frozen pond. SIZE: 60″ x 31″. CONDITION: Overall condition is very good plus. It’s remarkable to find such a monumental and important piece of early Coca-Cola advertising in as nice condition. Individual panels do have some minor scuffs and surface blemishes but nothing that detracts from the dramatic impact of this spectacular example. All panels are held together with what appears to be the original black fabric tape applied to the reverse seams. The reverse sides show some moisture staining but has not affected the images. 1-11516 (15,000-20,000)
