*RARE PARKER VHE GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 410. SN 239248. Built on a 000 frame with lightning cuts in the water table, 26” Vulcan steel bbls with tapered, concave, matted rib with single bead, doll’s head rib extension, ejectors and Parker single selective trigger. It is choked MOD / MOD. It is mounted with nicely figured, flame grain, American walnut with checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock, 14” over a Pachmayr pad. The receiver has zig-zag border patterns with Parker on the bottom front of the receiver. Unable to gauge bore diameter, bore restrictions or wall thickness. Drop at heel: 2-1/2”, drop at comb: 1-9/16”. Weight: 5 lbs. 15.04 oz. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbls retain a thin restored blue finish with a couple of small scrapes and a tiny spot of pitting. Receiver retains torch applied colors and the trigger guard most of a restored finish. Buttstock has a crack in the left side of the wrist and a hairline at the back edge of the forearm, otherwise the wood is sound and retains most of a very old, restored finish. Mechanics are fine.
