OUTSTANDING PAIR OF FRENCH CARVED LOUIS XVI WALNUT FAUTEUIL. Shaped padded back, upholstered arms and over upholstered seat. Knotched carving at seat rail and apron. Carved scroll arms, curving arm supports. Carved back frame. Wonderful quality flower decorated gold upholstery. SIZE: 36 1/4″ h x 18″ seat height x 24″ across front, 19″ seat depth. CONDITION: One chair shows extensive insect damage to back seat rail. This area has been broken out and no longer supports the upholstery. Otherwise in very good condition. 9-91713 (1,500-2,500)
