Scene shows panoramic view of hill with large red colonial house atop and two other houses along road. Water surrounds hillside and has paddlewheel boat and sailboat. Across gap in water is peninsula with two other houses. Man stands atop shore and looks with telescope across water. Reflection of view is in water.
