*SMITH & WESSON 2ND MODEL 44 HAND EJECTOR DA TARGET REVOLVER. Cal. 44 Spcl. SN 24636. Blue finish, 6-1/2” bbl, Partridge front sight, adjustable rear sight, smooth trigger & standard hammer, with diamond checkered medallion walnut grips. The left side of the grip frame under the grip is marked with a small diamond and the date “7/1/68” indicating factory refinish. Accompanied by a black nylon holster. Also accompanies is a S & W letter identifying this revolver and indicating shipment Feb. 9, 1926 to Geller, Ward & Hasner, Hardware Co., St. Loius, MO. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as refinished. Retains 96-98% bright factory blue with minor muzzle & edge wear and some fine scratches on the frame & sideplate, the grips are fine with light wear.
