*ALTERED WINCHESTER HIGH WALL WINDER MUSKET. Cal. 22 Short. SN 121766. Standard musket with 28” rnd bbl, brass bead, pedestal front sight, no rear sight, with an added non-Winchester Marbles tang sight. The forearm has been cut down and the stock has a replaced swivel. The bbl is double proofed signifying a replacement. CONDITION: As noted above, about very good. Bbl retains about 90% original blue with scattered light surface rust. Receiver retains most of an old refinish with scattered light pitting. Wood retains most of an old refinish. Good mechanics, bright shiny bore. 4-50447 JR815 (400-600)
