LARGE EXQUISITE VIENNA WALL PLAQUE. The plaque features an exquisite and vibrant scene of the three stages of life: youth, middle age, and old age. A lush and intricate gilt border on a beautiful green background frames the three women in wonderful detail. The charger is octagonal in shape. The reverse has blue beehive mark and has “Dreiparzen Dec 486 Depose” in script. This plaque descended through a Maine family, whose ancestor worked as an ambassador in Russia during the late 19th C. According to the family, it was at this time that the plaque was acquired. SIZE: 13 1/2″. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 9-92395 (500-1,000)
